"The Darbo world offers something delightful in this new commercial for Frucktikus, featuring Dolls that cook with the product showcasing its versatility. Every detail is considered and custom designed, the visuals are abundant with colour and pattern, with the usual glamorous cheeky girls to ensure a smile." "I was employed by Noisy Beast to create the packaging for the relaunch of Swisse’s kids’ vitamin range. After presenting a variety of approaches to attract and encourage children to engage with the product, it was decided that animals was the way to go. I created a family of bespoke character illustrations – one for each individual product. Once the packaging was approved, the characters came to life in simple animations. These were developed into global assets for the social teaser campaign roll out. They can be seen here. Striking visual merchandising was created for the shopper environment, once again leveraging the strength of the key characters from the packaging design." Creative Agency: Noisy Beast Karen Evans | StylistWitchery CampaignThe very talented Karen Evans shares some images from a beautiful campaign she styled for Witchery. "These still life shots were part of the Witchery Christmas campaign which is now live on their website. The job came via Coco Productions, the photographer was Lucas Allan and it was art directed by Jennifer Crooks at Witchery. We shot at M on W studio in Collingwood. The set pieces were made by Illusions and I arranged them to accommodate and compliment the product being shot in each grouping. They were great fun to work with and really versatile. The remind me of the lines on a topographic map". Frances Andrijich | PhotographerWA Ballet Season 2020 CampaignPhotographer, Frances Andrijich shares some stunning shots from a shoot she did this year for the WA Ballet Season 2020 Campaign. The WA Ballet is currently in the first week of performing Alice and Wonderland which is getting wonderful reviews. The shoot was produced by Meerkats who assembled a video of Frances’ stills. Frances talks to TBE about the campaign, "Was amazing to work on this concept and art direction with the talented creative team at Meerkats and with huge thanks to the WA ballet team, Sandy Delasalle and Aurelien Scannella - Artistic Director, and the incredibly talented dancers featured, and of course also to my hardworking team of Clair Negri and Elysia Paige” Nigel Karikari | DirectorEFLAREAward-winning Director, Editor, and Writer, Nigel KariKari shares a recent project he worked on in collaboration with Thirdrow Films for EFLARE. "I had a great time recently making a series of films through Thirdrow Films for a new client, EFLARE, a small forward thinking manufacturer of safety beacons. Designed for use in a wide range of situations from tunnels to warehouses, night work by emergency services to construction crews, we needed to shoot them in a wide range of interior and exterior locations and wrangle tricky lighting conditions to show off the lights effectively. Night-time drone photography and shooting on rail tracks dialed up the degree of difficulty but thanks to careful planning and a wonderful crew it turned out to be a lot of fun. Nothing better than being given the resources by a client who trusts your work to deliver something beyond what they were expecting". Check out the EFLARE series of videos here. James Thorn | PhotographerPersonal work while on the road.James Thorn, founder of Electric Bird Creative recently shot some personal photography whilst on the road in the sunny Gold Coast, QLD. "In September, I took a two week holiday to the Gold Coast. Between reading by the pool and eating ice cream, it was great to pick up my camera with no set goal in mind. I enjoyed the freedom of being able to get creative without any specific requirements and it was a great reminder of how lucky I am to be able to pursue something so enjoyable as a career." When not creating commercial work, James loves to get lost in nature while experimenting with abstract landscape photography. You can discover more of James' work by visiting his profile on TBE. ![]() WHO IS NEW TO THE CREATIVE DIRECTORY![]() Nicola Bernardi | Photographer His work speaks for itself and is as colourful and full of life as the Italian born photographer himself!
