We have also been busy connecting with more industry influencers to pick their brains about the creative world. This month, we bring you a glimpse into the brain of the Managing Director of Tank, Jim Antonopolous! It's quite the read! Keep scrolling to see all that and more! ![]() Managing Director of Tank"I own a brand and innovation consultancy called Tank. We do most of our work in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane. And from time to time, we fly overseas to work with clients. Our key focus areas are strategy, culture and innovation." ![]() Geez Clive | Adrian Elton Creative*When Adrian Elton spent 12 minutes mocking up a fake IKEA billboard ad, poking fun at Clive Palmer’s jaw-dropping media spend ahead of the recent federal election, he never expected it to get more than a few laughs and likes from his immediate circle of family and friends. Within an hour of posting it though it became clear that this was taking quite a different trajectory. From initially being shared by Catherine Deveny and Lee Lin Chin, to being the lead story in B&T magazine a couple of days later, it snowballed into a viral blockbuster. The work has since been covered by ‘ABC Insiders’ and the ‘Herald Sun’ and has garnered numerous radio and press interviews. AFL Fonts | Marcus Byrne"This brief was to create the hero visual for the AFL Finals campaign. The idea was a high-energy scene taking place in the MCG—a very dramatic shot with over 20 players making a leap for the Trophy. Ideally, for an image like this, we would’ve shot all the players in a studio with controlled light and comp it all together, but unfortunately the budget didn’t allow us that luxury. The solution was to build a scene in Photoshop from existing action shots. Certain players had moved to different teams, so some also needed new guernseys, shorts and body parts comped in to make up for missing bits. A big part of this design process was also creating the typeface and campaign lock up—‘BE THERE TO WITNESS GREATNESS’. The typeface was a reference to rock band logos of the 80's. I proposed to design a custom typeface, which we got made into a True Type font to use across all our design collateral. The final 3D headlines were created in Cinema 4D. This project turned out to be a labour of love, crafting every detail in as many hours as the job allowed." For more details visit Marcus’ website here. Swisse Beauty by Nature | Kalliroy EdlinAs part of this campaign for Swisse with Ashley Hart, besides styling all the props on set Kalliroy Edlin also did some product shots on a side set and finally put her new honey bees to good use! Client: Swisse All Things Annual Reports | Andrew PeglerAndrew Pegler Media specialises in web copywriting, annual report writing, writing for government, editing for government, finance writing, editing and proofreading services and plain English writing courses. Sydney Bridge | Rob White (Assistant)"It was an unnaturally foggy March day in Sydney grabbed my camera and headed over to the Harbour Bridge to get these shots. Using my tripod and a remote control, I had to get my camera into a tricky position to actually take the image. I really enjoy getting out in the streets in my spare time to capture images like this. I was really happy with the image, so I also entered into the Frame + Work Photography Competition that was being run by Billy Blue College of Design and was selected as a Top 30 Finalist!" ![]() Martyn Holland | RetoucherOriginally from the UK, Martyn Holland brings a keen eye to every job and readily grasps the artistic visions which stem from a solid foundation, built in London, working for some of the biggest names in photography post his Photographic degree.
