NEW WORK FROM OUR DIRECTORY MEMBERS
Alex Wallace | Photographer
Getting your Goat Auckland based photographer Alex Wallace shares this wonderful shot, taken as part of a series for FMG Insurance & their 2020 Calendar. "When you live and work in the city it's too easy to forget that most of New Zealand is a world away from the concrete jungle where most of us reside. For the past few years I have been lucky enough to get out into
the countryside and shoot images for the FMG Insurance calendar. It's a showcase of their rural clientele and goes out to 100,000 of their customers. Printed
hi-res on quality stock, it's a stand-out publication in a world that is increasingly digital and disposable." More work from the series can be seen on Alex's website www.alexwallace.co.nz.
Jody Dwyer | Writer, Director & Producer
Huda Beer (Carlsberg)The very talented Writer, Director and Producer, Jody Dwyer, shares a commercial he directed for Huda Beer, a Carlsberg beer for the Vietnamese market. "The brief was to have Vietnamese people having fun in an arctic region as an expression of chilled satisfaction. It was a challenge in that we had to create two contrasting environments, one scorchingly hot and the other
refreshingly chilled. Plus the arctic environment had to be created entirely in CG, shooting against green screen, and using talent that had never experienced snow before! This is where my extensive post experience came into play, ensuring that the result was believable." To work with Jody or view his portfolio, head to the Creative Directory.
