April 2020 Newsletter
No images? Click here Hi there The world is in meltdown but this month we are focused on being creative, being positive and showcasing work from some wonderfully talented individuals. I am no different to anybody else out there. Early last week I had my own mini-meltdown and put myself to bed for the afternoon when it all became too overwhelming. When I got up, I blasted myself in the shower, took the dog for a long walk and thought, I chose to swim. I intend to reflect and to reset the clock. The time of deep thought, creative solutions, and facing up to changes that need to be made starts now. Enjoy reading this newsletter full of good stories and positivity. Know I am here, at home, on the phone, email, social media and zoom if you need me. The Brownbill Effect was built for times like these. Swisse wanted to use the packaging to highlight the luxurious formulas of their products, which are powered by nature to support a clean and healthy complexion. The range is made up of six sub-ranges that each has a colour and nature-inspired pattern developed to reflect the benefits of that category of skincare. The designs were then expanded and rolled out across the point of sale collateral as well as print and digital promotions." 'Although the second half of this shoot was cancelled due to Covid19, I was lucky enough to complete week 1 of videography for the Chain Reaction Corporate Cycling Challenge in Tasmania. The 7 day shoot involved documenting the riders struggles, support crews various roles and the stunning scenery Tasmania has to offer. This video was put together at the end of the week to summarise days 4-6.’ To work with Dominic or view his portfolio, head to the Creative Directory. Matthew Olding | Photography Assistant Point LeoPhotography Assistant, Matthew Olding, shares an incredible shot he took at Point Leo, in the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia. "A hobby of mine involves shooting inshore surf photography with my SPL housing and Canon 60D w/60mm. I absolutely love the challenge of shooting wave photography as there is so much going on. Each wave is different and therefore requires accuracy and attention - a split second or wrong angle and you can miss your shot. Along with the added danger of the inshore waves and ever-changing conditions when you nail that one shot it is all worth it and very rewarding." Looking for a Photography Assistant? I have recently graduated from Photography Studies College in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Photography with a Commercial Major. My interests lie within Fashion and Wedding photography but I’ve also had a lot of experience in other areas of photography such as still life, portraiture and product advertising. I am very familiar with Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, Premier Pro, Elinchrom and Broncolour. I spent my entire final year in my bachelor’s degree organising fashion shoots for my personal portfolio. I collaborated with bridal stores, agency represented models and professional makeup artists around Melbourne. In doing this I’ve learnt what it means to be organised and always have a plan B. I’ve learnt how to work under pressure and with clients and have also gained excellent social and communication skills. I’m reliable, open minded, highly adaptable to any situation I’m thrown into and motivated to further develop my photographic knowledge. ![]() TBE JOBS TESTIMONIAL ![]() What Employers SayPat Vitetta | Creative Services“I have found working with Sally an absolute pleasure.
