"Photo managers recommend adopting the 3-2-1 backup method to manage your photos. This means having 3 copies of your photos, stored in two locations and one of those locations being off-site. The ideal solution is that this happens automatically all the time.
The mac ecosystem offers the simplest execution: all your photos are saved locally on your computer's hard drive (copy 1), it is backed up to the Time Machine (local copy 2) and the data from the computer is backed up to a dedicated cloud backup service such as BackBlaze (offsite copy 3)."

Not an overview of the Tesla Model Y 2022
Australian model
"Lee Herbet is not a ‘car’ guy. But he is a tech person and has a keen interest in the fields of renewable energy and water conservation. So when he got an electric car, he decided to spend some of his rare spare time while running his production company Capture.ink, to start a YouTube channel explaining electric cars in a way even his mum could understand."

Brand Refinement for a Globally Recognised Product
"As the known go-to brand for sunscreen, KINeSYS needed to ensure their messaging was 100% consistent and delivering a strong message through their brand imagery and messaging. With a broad audience of everyday people, how to best strike a chord and create a conversation around the everyday household item? The story of the founders’ struggle with skin cancer and passion for finding the highest quality formula provided a great answer. Communicating the quality of the product compared with the overwhelming number of lower quality options as well as their passion for not letting the sun spoil their fun proved to be an empowering and relatable
story.
We detailed the types of imagery for KINeSYS to use, with strong reference to how they inspire people to embrace the outdoors. Together with a tone of voice that backs the imagery, we refined the branding so that the KINeSYS values shone. We also modernised the logo and created brand codes that interact with the imagery to give an overall polished and appealing brand identity. We then applied the updated branding across all advertising and across all 3 countries which resulted in a new website, social media branding, EDM strategy and digital advertising."
KALLIROY EDLIN | PRODUCER & STYLIST
"Been having fun playing with colour in the studio with Kit Haselden on these awesome new bottles from Naked Spirits. Love a cocktail that doesn’t give you a hangover!"
Site Supervisor – Better way of
managing your business.
"Site Supervisor needed a series of Whiteboard animations to promote the various things they offer. Think of it as a Facebook for the building trade. This one deals with a “Better way of managing your business”
Whiteboard animation is something that Illustrator Bill Wood specialises in."
ARLA MARLOW | RESEARCH ADMINISTRATOR
"Contacting Sally when I was ready for a job change made what is usually a challenging period easy and stress-free. She was helpful and reassuring and within a few weeks had a series of great opportunities lined up. Sally was constantly in contact with updates and as such the process was made so much easier - I’m so glad I had her on my team. I love the job I have ended up with and I would definitely recommend her to others."
THERESA LEE | AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHER
"Within the first minute of our 2-hour Zoom consultation Sally’s warmth and joie-de-vivre immediately put me at ease. I had selected a broad variety of photographs in different genres for Sally to distil. I welcomed her honest and direct approach. Sally gave clear concise explanations why some of my images worked and others did not."
GEMMA CARR | PHOTOGRAPHER
"I’m Gemma Carr - a Melbourne-based photographer who works with conscious brands, ethical businesses and purpose-led entrepreneurs to help share what you do with the world. I’m here to help conscious businesses create a deeper connection with their audience. I’ve been meeting amazing people and connecting with businesses of all kinds for more than 20 years. From interior designers to dietitians to ethical toilet paper manufacturers, I’ve captured them all. I love discovering the unique things that make a person or a business special, capturing that in the best light and sharing it
with the world. And I know that there’s nothing quite like seeing all your hard work captured in beautiful, powerful imagery to help you really see your worth.
You’re here because you want more of the good stuff for your business (sales, bookings, dream clients). And you know that consistent, fresh, unique images of you, your team, your products and your business at work can help you achieve just that. You’re also here because you want to have a genuine positive impact on our earth and in your community. And you want your photos to reflect your purpose. Together we can create images with real impact. Images that jump off the page, show your values and help your business grow."
MIGHTYWORLD | CREATIVE AGENCY
"Mightyworld is a design and branding agency delivering creative solutions across all media. We’re a combination of talent that has allowed us to deliver complete campaigns across all media without requiring the big budgets big agencies feed on. When you work with us, you deal directly with the core group. No junior account execs or red tape. We are directly involved in your business from the very first meeting."
WHAT BRINGS OUT THE BEST IN YOU?
"Any brief that allows me to bring my full sense of playfulness to the table is a win. That coupled with clients who also have a ribald sense of humour and who have engaged me specifically because they want some left-of-centre thinking is something that really gets the creative juices flowing. It all makes for a heady brew and a thoroughly enjoyable process.
The cherry on top is when it’s a brief that calls for witty and on-point headlines. Almost hard
to believe that you can get paid for doing something that is so stimulating and enjoyable."

Over the month of November Photo Collective are excited to host a major exhibition and series of events taking place in both Melbourne and Sydney.
"Centred around the 2022 APA Exhibition, the finalists images across our our seven major categories will be on display in print using Canson Infinity papers at Bodriggy Brewpub in Yarra City along with projected displays of the 2022 shortlist. We will be transforming the venue into an arts precinct over the weekend of November 18th - 20th, bringing together the public and photographic community. Join us for the live winners announcement and main ceremony of the 2022 Australian Photography Awards on November 19th. The
event will be a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate Australian photography. Following the event you are invited to stay on and continue to celebrating into the night. Coinciding with the exhibition, we have a unique program of live conversations and demonstrations between APA finalists and winners alongside industry partners and prominent photographic artists. These events will take place at various venues across Melbourne and Sydney whilst also being live-streamed on Nikon cameras to the world.
As an organisation dedicated to supporting Australian
photography, we can't do this without our community and industry partners. We see this program as becoming an annual staple within the arts calendar that provides access to exhibition and publication for our community alongside career progression and paid opportunities. We hope the program is a reflection of how previous winners, finalists and entrants can become involved in the direction of Photo Collective. We look forward to growing this more than ever this year."
"Head On Photo Festival 2022 is just around the corner! We will be announcing our extraordinary program of exhibitions and photographers at the beginning of October. But in the meantime, here is just a taste of what's to come... What better way to prepare for the Festival than to hear from the people behind it? On Wednesday, 12 October, join members of this year's selection panel - Judith Nangala Crispin, Louisa Kirby, Murray Fredricks, and me - for our free online event, The insider's guide to Head On Photo Festival 2022. This impressive group of photographers and creatives will tell us why they chose the series they did, what photos blew them away, and most of all, what to expect at Head On Photo Festival 2022 (4-20 November)! Regards,
Moshe Rosenzveig OAM
